Upcoming Events

"Can't repeat the past?" Why of course you can!" Join Swing Dancing Townsville and the Hot Club Quartet for a spectacular night of swing dancing, and live swing music. Bettina Naughton & Quito from Swing Dancing Townsville will begin the night with an introductory swing dance workshop. Once the dance party kicks off, drinks will be available to purchase and drink vouchers awarded to the best dressed....attire (optional) - Gatsby or anything vintage

Thinking about Saturday night, I often leave a club wishing the band had played a certain song or had done something differently....but not that night, every piece you played/sang was spot on, especially Tico Tico. Shame to those that missed it but will be bringing friends to the next one on May 11.

The Hot Club Quartet is back by popular demand at The Carlton Theatre with their new Golden Oldies concert, "Back To The 50's & 60's"! The concert will feature your favorite classic oldies but goodies from the 50's & 60's. The band will be performing alongside special guest artists including award winning swing dance performers Bettina Naughton and Quito, gypsy-jazz guitar virtuoso Jeremy Hawker, saxophone extraordinaire Steve Gilbert and the D'Esley tap dancers. The theatre has a beautiful dance floor so guests are welcome to dance. This special event is a tribute to my Dad and brother-law. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to a local cancer foundation.
